Slovenian Tourist Board celebrates its cycling routes

A new 16-day green cycling route circles the countrys diverse landscapes and best spas and health resorts. 

The Slovenian Tourist Board's new 'Green Wellness Cycling Route' includes daily stops, leaving plenty of time for relaxation and pampering.

Beginning in Ljubljana, and heading north towards the kamnik-Savinja Alps, the route then flattens through ?tajerska to the mountains above the Pannonian Plain. The route draws to a close through unique locations such as Kozjansko Regional Park, known as the 'Slovenian Venice', and Oto?ec Castle, in the middle of the Krka River.  

The route spans 680km, with 16 individual stages at an average length of 40km each. 

Over 500 attractions are marked out alongthe way, ensuring guests get to know the true Slovenia.
