Shearings has kicked off the new year with the launch of two new brochures available to travel agents, with any 2021 or 2022 tour secured for a ?1 deposit, when booked by January 31.
With many desperate for a holiday but still a little cautious and wanting to stay close to home, ?staycations? are predicted to be the summer 2021 winner. Shearings new UK tours brochure features over 200 coach holidays, priced from ?219, with around 500 UK coach pick-up points and self-drive breaks to 35 hotels, priced from ?99.
In addition, the company has launched a dedicated European brochure ?Discover the Very Best of Europe? with a choice of more than 70 holidays, including the coach tours Shearings is famous for and also railway options and river cruising.
With just a ?1 deposit, there is nothing else to pay until the holiday balance is due, 42 days before departure for coach and river cruise holidays, or 28 days before for self-drive breaks.
Shearings has also introduced a ?One Price Policy? ? holidays are priced according to the package selected and date of travel and not by availability and time of booking.
Shearings? head of retail sales, Ashley Dellow said: ?Travel agents have had it really tough, but despite the ongoing pandemic there is optimism, thanks to the vaccine programme. The two new Shearings? brochures are excellent selling tools and combined with the low deposit and covid guarantees agents can sell with confidence. Shearings has a very loyal, repeat booking, customer base and I believe pent up demand will fuel a surge in bookings for holidays this summer, with clients even booking a few trips this year - something to look forward to and to make up for lost time. With just a ?1 deposit there really isn?t anything to lose!?
Mindful of the ongoing pandemic, anyone booked on Shearings? tours before February 28 this year can change the dates or tour without an admin charge and anyone booked who contracts the virus, or has to self-isolate, up to 14 days before travel, can re-book for another date free of charge.
