p> Seasons has announced a new relationship with Virgin Galactic as it begins to sell places on the first commercial space flights.? A select few members of the operator's team have undergone extensive training in order to become Accredited Space Agents and sell the programme, which is now bookable as a fully-inclusive travel package.?
The total experience is two hours and includes four minutes of weightlessness. Passengers will be able to release themselves from their seats during this time and float around the cabin. Multiple porthole windows will give passengers views of more than 1,200km in any direction.? At the end of the experience, guests return to their reclined seat to glide back to the runway.? Tickets cost approximately $200,000 (?125,000) and the operator is offering the experience with tailored travel packages for accompanying families travelling to Spaceport America. Test flights are scheduled to continue throughout this year, with commercial operations expected to begin in the next few years. Clients waiting for their flight date are kept informed about the project and will be invited to events to give them behind-the-scenes access. ?
