Scenic Eclipse makes history with landmark submarine dive

 The ship has completed the first submersible dive on South Georgia Islands in 40 years. 

On January 31, 2022, Scenic Eclipse's on-board submarine, Scenic Neptune, took guests on an underwater exploration of Stomness, South Georgia, during the 21-day 'Antarctica & South Georgia' voyage.

The adventurous excursion marked the first time operators have been granted permission to dive submersibles on the island.

After working closely with the authorities to gain permission, we?d like to thank them for placing their trust in us to operate these dives. Seeing our plans become a reality and being able to offer our guests this incredible experience unrivalled by any other cruise line is an incredible moment for our team.

The cruise line's next submersible dive will tkae place aboard the March 9, 2022 voyage, with two more departures during the 2022/23 schedule on November 20, 2022 and February 15, 2022. 

Prices for the 23-day voyages start from ?18,875, with cruisers offered up to 20% off their bookings when paying in full 12 months before departure for 2023/24 sailings.
