Scenic Eclipse has announced new luxury expedition experiences as part of its 2022/23 Antarctica and South America programme, including helicopter landings, helicopter skiing and journeys across the Weddell Sea for the first time.
The Scenic Eclipse brochure features new discovery experiences, Scenic Freechoice options and a new itinerary sailing the Weddell Sea, as well as a diverse range of South America luxury land journeys extensions.
Highlights of the new 2022/23 programme include:
The new 19-day Into the Weddell Sea voyage: Guests can enjoy 24 hours of daylight on route through the icy waterways and hear the song of the Weddell seals while paddling by kayak. They will witness the glaciers calve during a Zodiac ride or get up close to the ice or wildlife on an immersive stand-up paddle board experience. They will also get to see whales off the shore along with penguin rookeries and lazing seal colonies. Prices start from ?14,785 per person departing December 19, 2022.
New innovative discovery experiences: Scenic Eclipse?s helicopter excursions has been expanded to include helicopter ice landings to take guests further inland for an in-depth exploration of the Antarctic landscape. Visitors can ski on Antarctica?s terrain, as the on board helicopters takes guests to the top of its virgin mountain slopes on new helicopter skiing excursions.
Scenic Eclipse?s submarine, Scenic Neptune, is the first permitted vessel to operate in South Georgian waters. Your guests will have the opportunity to go on an underwater discovery with a submarine dive up to 300 metres below the surface.
Scenic is currently offering savings of up to 20% on selected 2022/23 Scenic Eclipse voyages when booked and paid in full 12 months prior to departure. The 16-day Antarctica in Depth itinerary starts from ?11,955 per person departing December 8, 2022.
