Travel agents can now make Christmas even more special for someone they think should receive some extra festive cheer.
This year has been tough for many people in the travel industry, so Santa?s Lapland is looking to light-up Christmas for a few families.
The UK Lapland specialist, known for taking families on unforgettable trips to visit the real Santa in Lapland, has launched a brand new Santa live video call experience for any five travel agent families.
The 15-minute video call will prove its genuine Lapland credentials, as an elf leads the family through the snow and gets up-close with a reindeer, before going live to Santa?s cabin for a personalised meeting with Santa himself.
Santa?s Lapland is asking the travel industry to nominate their travel agent friends or colleagues who have been affected by COVID-19 this year, and may need some added Christmas cheer.
Nominations should be sent across in 50 words to agency.sales@hotelplan.co.uk with ?Santa Live? in the subject line, mentioning the name of the person who would benefit from this experience and why. The deadline to send in the nominations is December 7. Nominations will be reviewed, and any five winning families will receive a call with the real Santa this Christmas.

We have worked relentlessly and so hard as an industry for months with very little reward. I?ve spoken to so many of my agent friends who have really struggled in various ways, so this is our chance to put a smile on five of our travel agents? faces. Terms and Conditions
The nominees must be a travel agent who is currently employed. Nominations must be in by 5pm on December 7. The winners will be notified by December 11. Personalisation information for the call must be given to Santa?s Lapland no later than 5pm on December 15. The live video call from Lapland with Santa will be at a designated time on December 21 and December 22. Access to Skype, Microsoft Teams or Zoom is required, as well as a minimum internet speed of 8 Mbps download / 1.5 Mbps upload. The prize is for up to two adults and four children, and will last up to 15 minutes. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
