San Diego launches 'Happy and You Know It' campaign

The San Diego Tourism Authoritys new campaign includes a new television advert and multi-layered campaign assets.

To boost demand throughout the upcoming spring and season season, the San Diego Tourism Authority has launched a new 'Happy and You Know It' campaign, with a television advert debuting on screens on January 29, 2022. 

The campaign will reinforce the positivity that draws worldwide visitors back to San Diego.

Julie Coker, San Diego Tourism Authority CEO, explained: ?Now more than ever travelers are looking for places with diverse communities and people where they can escape and explore, and San Diego fits the bill for so many would-be visitors,? Coker said. ?Our natural beauty, our outdoor offerings, world class arts and cultural attractions, and our near-perfect weather makes for a vacation that is both happy and healthy.?

The spring media will focus on San Diego's sports programming and the outdoor and wellness activities on offer across the city. 

Telivison, digital, radio and billboard assets will form the campaign's key consumer reach materials.
