Rocky Mountaineer to feature in Channel 5's new series

Rocky Mountaineer will be featured on Channel 5s new six-part series, ?The World?s Most Scenic Railway Journeys?, on October 25 at 8pm.

The luxury tourist train travels between Vancouver and the Canadian Rocky Mountain towns of Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper. It is the only passenger train to travel these routes, giving unique access to the rugged landscape of the Canadian Rockies.

The episode will give viewers a glimpse of the 'First Passage to the West' route, the rail operator's most popular route, which travels from lush rainforests of Vancouver; through a semi-arid desert of Kamloops; and into the Rocky Mountains, finishing at the national park towns of Lake Louise and Banff. The train passes through tunnels and canyons, alongside rivers, and around mountain peaks. Viewers will learn about the history and engineering feats of the railway line that united the country more than 130 years ago.

Bookings made before October 25 for a 2020 trip will receive a free hotel night, free meal and free transfer (worth up to $800 CAD) on qualifying packages of seven-nights or more.
