Riviera Travel has announced the launch of two luxury on-board offerings that were set to debut last year.
In place aboard the brand's European river cruises, the 'Riviera Plus' package will be available to all upper-deck cabin and deluxe and superior suite guests, and include a smart handset with unlimited calls, texts, roaming, local maps, translator and currency convertor, Prosecco upon arrival, an aperitif each evening and a platter of fresh seasonal fruits throughout the cruise.
Evening menus will be refined to include 'Local Flavours' every evening, themed to the cruise's current location. Options will include a classic Hungarian soup infused with smoky paprika, French cassoulet and traditional Dutch desserts. Guests will also be able to enjoy a choice of wines on board, with many sourced from vineyards close to the ship's dockings.

Guests can take some well-deserved time to both explore and unwind with our on-board extras, as well as feel more connected to the places we visit through our delicious and varied locally-sourced cuisine. Both enhancements are included within the price and are currently available on 23 European river cruises and eight solo traveller cruises.
Any bookings made before April 30, 2021 are protected with free amendments at any time up to 45 days before travel on 2021 holidays, and ?400 on-board credit is available on select bookings.
