p>Riviera Travel has launched the latest addition to its fleet ? the five-star MS William Shakespeare ? due to be launched in April.The ship will carry 140 passengers and 35 crew and features a four-deck design with a lobby on the Hamlet (upper) deck.
At the front of the ship, guests will find the library and the Globe lounge and bar, while to the rear is a 24-seater Midsummer bar, offering panoramic windows and outdoor seating. Other features of the vessel include a restaurant, fitness suite, sauna and hairdressing salon.
Eight-day itineraries next year include the Rhine & Moselle from ?1,249 per person; Rhine, Strasbourg and Heidelberg from ?1,299 per person; and a Rhine Cruise to Switzerland from ?1,349 per person. Prices are based on two sharing a lower deck cabin, including Eurostar travel and excursions. Flights are available at a supplement.
