The brochure covers 272 Christmas breaks and 223 New Year breaks, totaling 495 ? 40 more than last year, alongside other festive treats such as a night out at the panto, themed short breaks and Christmas Markets both in the UK and Europe.
As examples, new hotel packages include Christmas in Edinburgh, where a three-night stay at the four-star Crown Plaza Edinburgh the Roxburghe Hotel costs from ?385 per person including pantomime tickets. The price is based on a December 24 arrival and includes ?carol singing, a three-course dinner and post-Midnight Mass hot chocolate and mince pies on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day, guests receive a Buck?s Fizz breakfast, traditional Christmas lunch with a visit from Santa plus a buffet dinner evening. Other treats include Boxing Day tickets to see the Peter Pan Pantomime.?
?The New Year's Eve P&O party leads in at ?75 and offers live music on the Pride of Hull. While the ship is docked in Hull, the party will see 2014 in with special entertainment throughout the evening including a live band and comedy act. A special New Year?s Eve meal is also available for an extra ?25 per person, and the package also includes an en-suite cabin with breakfast and parking.?
