25 guests joined Riviera Travel for a five-day tour of the Peak District - the first of 100 UK departures of the season.

Riviera Travel is celebrating the completion of its first 2021 holiday, which saw 25 guests join the UK-based operator for a five-day tour around the Peak District. It marks the first of 100 departures that Riviera is offering this season, which draws to a close at the end of October.

12 itineraries will depart on 94 dates across the coming months, with five- or six-day tours around Norfolk, Devon, Oxford, the Highlands and Somerset.

Four solo tours will offer an additional six departures to Norfolk, Cornwall, the Lake District and North Yorkshire.

The Peak District stay, Riviera's first completed tour of this summer, included a guided tour of Chatsworth House and the spa town of Buxton, with the opportunity to explore the surrounding countryside on the Peak Rail heritage line.

All UK tours are designed with small groups in mind, with a maximum of 25 guests on all the tours. Guests travel in socially-distanced full-sized coaches en route to three- and four-star hotels that are centrally situated in their local areas.

Jim Forward, chief commercial officer at Riviera Travel, said: ?We?re so pleased to welcome guests on our UK tours again. It?s a pleasure to give people the chance to explore our beautiful country once more.

Riviera's 2021 breaks start from ?569 per person, including hotel stays, breakfast and a tour manager.
