Riviera Travel has confirmed its ?Maritime Canada? tour will resume in 2022.
The 11-day getaway takes in the landmark Atlantic coastline provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
A total of six tours are available, from May to September. There are places for up to 49 guests per tour, who will stay for at least two days in each province.
The itinerary includes:
- A journey along the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia
- A visit to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, which is host to a wealth of local wildlife including moose, black bears, beavers, red foxes and raccoons
- Excursions to Halifax, the home to many of the region's major cultural attractions including the Citadel National Historic Site; and Fundy National Park, which experiences the world?s highest tides
- Outings to both the Anne of Green Gables and Alexander Graham Bell museums
- A trip to Peggy?s Point Lighthouse
The tour was originally introduced in 2020 but had to be postponed as a result of travel restrictions.
Prices start from ?2,399 per person, including direct return flights from London Heathrow, an accompanying tour manager, hotel transfers and accommodation.
