Regent Holidays releases new Finnish fly-drives

The operator has launched three fly-drive combinations as Finland opens its borders for fully-vaccinated travellers. 

Regent Holidays has launched a new collection of three fly-drive tours across Finland, exploring some of the nation's least visited and most scenic landscapes, with availability for summer 2021.  

'Best of North Karelia Fly-Drive' spans Finland and Russia, with nine days to explore Lake Pielinen, Joensuu, Nurmes, Koli National Park and the River Lieksanjoki from ?1,595 per person, based on two sharing. The tour includes return flights from UK to Helsinki, car hire, bed-and-breakfast accommodation, four dinners and one lunch. 

A more family-friendly option is available in Karelia, the nine-day 'Karelian Explorer Fly-Drive'. Holidaymakers will stay in cosy guesthouses as they explore the remote region from ?4,885 for two adults and two children, including return flights to Helsinki, most meals, transfers and car hire. Available for two adults sharing from ?1,995 per person.  

The third and final fly-drive is 'Land of 1000 Lakes', combining three areas of Finland's Lakeland region: Lahti, Jyv?skyl? and Tampere. Including stays in cabins, guesthouses and manor houses, guests will tick off scenic sights including P?ij?nne National Park and Jyv?skyl?. The ten-day holiday starts from ?1,695 per person, based on two sharing, with return flights, bed-and-breakfast accommodation, car hire and a boat trip included. 

A seperate gastronomy tour, 'Finnish Beer and Lakes', has launched for summer 2022, with visits to Finland's trendy micro-breweries, whisky distilleries and some of the nation's most popular restaurants from Helsinki to Tampere, starting from ?1,995 per person including flights, tours, transport and accommodation.
