Regent Holidays launches new Arctic Winter brochure

Regent Holidays has launched a new Arctic Winter 2019/20 brochure which features an array of new experiences new accommodations, including off-grid winter glamping in Sweden, sustainable retreats in Iceland and adventures in Norway. 

The tour operator is marking 45 years of Artic and Iceland holidays in 2020.

Andrea Godfrey, general manager of the operator, said: ?We first operated tours to Iceland in 1975 and over the years, while the much-loved natural wonders and incredible scenery have remained unchanged, it has been fascinating to see the many new hotels, restaurants and experiences that are unveiled each year. Drawing inspiration from authentic Arctic communities and traditions, the range of options for visitors to Sweden, Norway and Finland now is fantastic ? there are so many ways to discover this winter wonderland.?

The new brochure features winter excursions and Northern Lights experience in Iceland, alongside a range of fly-drives. Some of the highlights include Torfhus Retreat, a new hotel that runs entirely on sustainable geothermal and hydroelectric energy; the Retreat Hotel, a luxury hideaway on the edge of the Blue Lagoon; and 360? Boutique Hotel, which features great views and a new spa, including a sauna and outdoor hot tubs.

Finland features the classic Father Christmas experience. Winter itineraries offer all-inclusive stays in the remote Paishill Private Lodge close to the Norwegian border; boutique accommodation at the new Design Hotel Levi, which opens in November; and Skabma Log Cabin, a timber cabin in Saariselk? which can be booked for up to 14 guests with an option to employ private chefs.
