Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA), in partnership with the Organising Committee of the Emirate’s New Year’s Eve celebration, is gearing up to welcome 2023 with a show-stopping musical firework display and new Guinness World Records attempts.
Featuring pyro-drones and nano-lights choreographed to electronic beats, the #RAKNYE2023 will see a jaw-dropping pyro-musical spectacle set to break new records once again. The display will cover a 4.7 km stretch along the waterfront between Al Marjan Island and Al Hamra Village.
Ras Al Khaimah currently holds numerous World Records from previous editions of the New Year’s display. In 2022, the breath-taking firework show employed more than 15,000 effects and 452 firework drones. The display entered the record books with two new titles for the ‘Most Remote Operated Multirotors/Drones Launching Fireworks Simultaneously’ and ‘Highest Altitude Multirotor/Drone Firework Display’.
