PATA announces a series of virtual quizzes and bingo

The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is hosting a series of virtual training quizzes and bingo nights for the travel trade.

The UK & Ireland chapter of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has announced a series of virtual training quizzes and bingo events throughout the summer.

A number of guest hosts will join, with representatives from Tourism Australia, Cook Islands Tourism, Hong Kong Tourist Board, Tourism Thailand, Macao, and AAT Kings. The hour-long quizzes will consist of 20 questions about the Asia Pacific region and last approximately an hour.

Alongside the quizzes set to take place on July 1 and July 15, 2021, PATA has also scheduled a virtual Bingo event on July 8, 2021.

Matt McCausland, account director for PATA UK & Ireland, said: ?While the pandemic forced us to take the plunge into the digital realm, we have learned virtual events are not just a necessity, but a win-win opportunity for both organizations and attendees ? even after life returns to normal. Irrespective of the latest lockdown delay news, going forward, we will continue hosting virtual events alongside our face-to-face events - the first of which is our in-person ?Taste of PATA London? event, scheduled for 21st September 2021. This will be followed by ?Taste of PATA Dublin? on 10th November 2021.?
