The Asterix and Obelix- themed park is opening all of its 42 attractions next month, as well as live theatre shows and meet and greets.
Parc Ast?rix is preparing to open its doors on June 9, 2021, after several months of closure. The park's 42 attractions (with 22 family rides, seven thrill-seeking adventures, and 13 easy-going rides for 'Young Gauls') will open with the park, alongside meet and greets with Asterix and Obelix in the Village Gaulois.
Live entertainment is also on the agenda when the park reopenings, with the Chronos show "Magie et illusions" (or Magic and Illusions!) opening at the Panoramix Theatre.
Guests will be invited to try out a new mobile app, which will allow them to order food for click & collect at a selection of the resort's restaurants and sandwich bars, a virtual queuing service Filotomatix, and immersive photo points with scenery to enable special features in-app.
Characters will make regular social distancing announcements for the guests to listen out for, too.
In 2020, Parc Ast?rix opened the four-star 'Les Quais de Lut?ce' hotel, with themed rooms whisking guests through time to 50 B.C. The property has already welcomed more than 40,000 visitors over the last year, with 150 rooms welcoming guests back from June 9, 2021. Two other hotels add another 300 rooms to the resort's capacity, with guests having a choice of Les Quais de Lut?ce, Les Trois Hiboux or La Cit? Suspendue.
The park will operate at reduced capacity of ticket-holders only, with compulsory mask mandates still in place. 900 sanitiser distribution spots are available around the park and its hotels.
Tickets start from ?45 per adult and ?42 per child, with a date booked seven days in advance. All tickets must be purchased in advance at the resort's website.
