Oxford Official Walking Tours announces the return of daily tours

The tours, operated by Experience Oxfordshire, restarted on a daily basis from July 19, 2021.

Oxford Official Walking Tours, run by the destination's management organisation (DMO) Experience Oxfordshire, restarted its daily walking tours around the city on July 19, 2021, continuing with daily scheduled tours moving forward.

For several months, the tours have been operating on a reduced weekend-only service; as the summer season approaches, the demand for tours has increased and the organisation has rised to meet it.

The tours are led by experienced local guides that tick off key sites around the city, including the Radcliffe Camera Building, the Bodleian Library Old Schools Quadrangle (known for its use in Harry Potter), and the university's ancient colleges, some of which date back to 1242.

Oxford Official Walking Tours have earned the VisitEngland 'We're Good To Go' industry standard and 'Safe Travels' stamp from the World Travel and Tourism Council following the introduction of robust hygiene and safety protocols.

Hayley Beer-Gamage, chief executive of Experience Oxfordshire said: ?We are delighted that we are now able to offer daily tours again.  However, as we move into the next stage government road map, we are still encouraging responsible behaviour from all customers joining our tours.

"Our new booking system makes it easy to check availability and book in advance and with a wide range of tours available they really are a great way to explore the city.?
