Not Just Travel celebrates doubled recruitment and 36% sales growth at largest-ever conference

Over 400 Not Just Travel agents, 50 corporate team members and 40 trade partners joined the consortium in Stratford-upon-Avon this weekend.

In the largest-ever edition of its annual conference, co-founders Paul Harrison and Steve Witt invited agents to celebrate 2023, which saw a 36.6% rise in sales and doubled recruitment rate.

Paul said that the over 400-strong attendance "is great testament to how the company has grown so fast" and attributed the growth to "the strength of our passionate consultants and expert corporate team."

Overall sales growth of 36.6% was in part supplemented by the doubling of daily cruise bookings compared to 2022, thanks to the cruise website, Cruise Mastery Programme and Seminar at Sea cruise trips equipping Not Just Travel agents to bolster their cruise know-how.

Dame Irene Hays, joining the conference via video call, said that Hays Travel's partnership with NJT has "seen the brand flourish and grow. The strength of Not Just Travel, as our fastest-growing independent brand, is how ahead of the game it is. Not Just Travel sees where the industry is going in the future and adapts."

Top Not Just Travel bookers included Mark and Isobel McCardie, taking bookings worth over £3.8 million, Gaynor Speakman, with bookings worth £1.7 million, and Ben Casey, who took over £1.5 million in 2023.

Members fresh out of training are already delivering impressive numbers: Dawn Carney, who joined in December 2023, has already made 11 bookings.
