Not Just Travel appoints Cherie Richards as chief business development officer

Not Just Travel has appointed Cherie Richards as their chief business development officer.

With more than 27 years of experience, Ms Richards? appointment is being hailed by the company as one among the ?many more to come? additions.

Her initial task will be to strengthen all areas of the existing Not Just Travel franchisee, as she looks to overhaul, enhance and improve the business model. Her goal will be to help the existing travel consultants to generate more profit, and provide a better customer experience; a task that can be achieved through training and investment in the company for personal development and customer retention.

There are plans to create a brand new platform, with Not Just Travel aiming to attract good travel agents. The project will be unveiled by Cherie soon.

?Leaving my previous role after 15 years in a company was a huge decision, but one that I made with excitement,? Ms Richards said. ?Not Just Travel?s fresh thinking and entrepreneurial spirit is irresistible. Both Steve Witt and Paul Harrison inspire me, as they continue to rewrite the rules of the travel industry. They allow their travel consultants the freedom to do business in their own way, while providing unbeatable support and training. I can clearly see that Not Just Travel is breaking into a new territory, with a bolder vision than any other I have seen. I simply have to be a part of it.?

Co-founder Paul Harrison says: ?We have used the time during the recent COVID-19 downturn, to take stock of our past and present endeavours, and create a new future. Cherie?s appointment shows our confidence and commitment in the harshest of times, as we further invest in our business and create a new vision for ?the new normal.? We will not do anything the same way anymore. Instead, we have started to put together a dream team of talent to help us fulfil our goals and aspirations. We want to make Not Just Travel, the very best offering for the new travel consultants, as well as the experienced ones out there, who have an entrepreneurial spirit and want to be a part of something special.?

?In our first six years, we have built an amazing story, changed lives of hundreds of people, won many industry awards and yet we are just beginning. So far, we have just built the foundations, so that we can go on and create the best entrepreneurial opportunity in travel, in Britain. The next few months will see some major changes and enhancements to our business, as we innovate further and attract the very best, both in our corporate structure and in our amazing travel consultant business partners,? added fellow co-founder Steve Witt.
