Eight next-generation vessels have been commissioned across the NCL, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises brands, due for delivery between 2026 and 2036.
The eight-ship pipeline represents Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NCLH)'s most comprehensive build order to date, encompassing 25,000 additional berths with new classes of ships across all brands.
Along with the new vessels, the group confirmed a new multi-ship pier at its private Bahamas island destination, Great Stirrup Cay.
Harry Sommer, NCLH's president and CEO, said the order "provides for the steady introduction of cutting-edge vessels into our fleet and solidifies our long-term growth," promising that the business will "significantly leverage our operating scale, strengthen our commitment to innovation and enhance our ability to offer our guests new products and experiences, all while providing opportunities to enhance the efficiency of our fleet."
A fair share
Norwegian Cruise Line will take delivery of four ships, each with an expected capacity of around 5,000 guests in 2030, 2032, 2034 and 2036.
Oceania Cruises will welcome two new ships in 2027 and 2029, building on the success of its Allura Class ships: the final of which will be delivered next year.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises is set to host two new ships with a circa 850-guest capacity on both, in 2026 and 2029.
