New research has revealed the most-searched cruise destinations among Brits, with Norway, Greece and Italy topping the list.
Medical travel insurance specialist AllClear Travel has analysed data to reveal Brits' top-Googled cruise searches. The data reveals national, regional and continental trends.
Norway sailed clear of the competition, with over 130,000 searches a month on average, followed by Greece with 41,378.
Italy (29,889), Iceland (18,036) and Australia (10,921) comprised the rest of the top five-searched destinations.
Regionally, the Caribbean topped the list of most-searched hotspots with over 112,000 monthly searches. The Mediterranean (66,173), Scandinavia (13,610), Canary Islands (10,121) and the Baltic (6,043) followed behind.
Close-to-home cruises remain by far the most popular searches for Brits, as European search terms held the top spot with over 25,000 average monthly searches. The Antarctica (14,398) and Asia (9,701) sailed in second and third, respectively.
