Newmarket takes on the Baltics in new package

Travellers can explore the Baltic capitals of Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius as part of an eight-day excursion through the ancient cities.

The tour will begin in Estonia’s capital where guests will visit the Alexander Nevski Cathedral and the grand Kadriorg Palace before moving on to Tartu to discover why the country’s oldest city has been voted one of Europe’s capitals of culture in 2024.

Continuing to Latvia, guests will take in the Gauja National Park before stopping for a bite to eat at Sigulda, home to a 13th century castle. In Riga, the group will take a walking tour of the old town before exploring some of the city’s more modern attractions.

Guests will be guided around the Rundale Palace while en-route to Vilnius, before witnessing a sacred Lithuanian pilgrimage site at the Hill of Crosses before reaching the last stop in the country’s capital, complete with a tour exploring the city’s rich religious heritage.

Prices for the package lead in from £1,199 per person, including a £100 saving for bookings made before May 31st, 2024. The package is available with a choice of 12 departures starting in April 2025.
