Agents are encouraged to take advantage of the operator’s exclusive Wimbledon packages as public interest continues to ramp up for the British underdogs while the sport itself has entered the glitz and glam of Hollywood.
As the public ballot for tickets has now closed, specialist tour packages are now one of the few ways for members of the public to enjoy their strawberries and cream on Centre Court.
Newmarket offers Wimbledon packages including accommodation on either the outskirts of London or Central, transfers and a tour manager, as well as reserved seats on No. 1 Court for the Championship’s second weekend for a series of singles and doubles finals. Prices for the packages lead in from £272 per person.
This year is shaping up to be a big year for the sport and agents are encouraged to join the hype and serve their clients a slice of the action. With both Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal heading for retirement and Emma Raducanu back and better than ever, it looks like this year will be one for the history books.
Tennis has also played a starring role in the latest Hollywood blockbuster ‘Challengers’ starring A-lister Zendaya, drawing more public interest into the sport just in time for Wimbledon.
“It is time for agents to make a racket about Wimbledon!” said Richard Forde, head of trade sales and partnerships at Newmarket Holidays, “Brit’s love an underdog and interest in Murray and Raducanu will be massive this year, so agents who can log a great range of Wimbledon packages to their customers are on to a winner!”
