New tours from Insight attract first-timers

Following research carried out with 120 passengers the company found that around 60% of passengers joining a Select tour have never taken an escorted tour before, compared with 40% of passengers on one of its classic tours. In addition, the average customer age was lower with 50% of guests being under 50. The Select programme was launched in the operator?s 2010 Europe and Britain brochure and offers customers the flexibility of independent travel with the advantages of an escorted holiday, with guests can choose the destinations and duration of their tour.

 

Sightseeing options are available to purchase while travelling and a personal concierge is on hand to help guests tailor their trip further. Itineraries range in length from six-16 days. Prices for a nine-day Select Imperial Capitals costs from ?1,025 per person, beginning in Budapest and ending in Prague. A reduced price is available for guests choosing to finish the tour in Vienna. The tour includes an orientation tour in each city and sightseeing stops on route, breakfast accommodation, transfers and a concierge service.Extra full- and half-day ?Experience? packages are available to purchase on tour.
