Modern Brits will consume 56 alcoholic drinks, have four rows, pick up four local phrases - and moan about being ?too hot? eight times on an average two-week holiday abroad.
The survey, which polled almost 2,000 British holidaymakers and was commissioned by autoeurope.co.uk, revealed we will spend an average of ?1,863 including everything from flights, accommodation and spending money ? as well as fly 2,479 miles to reach the perfect destination.
We will also finish two books, and get half way through a third, as well as spend two-and-a-half hours glued to our mobile phones, iPads or laptops every day ? that's 35 hours during the entire holiday.
A further 1.6 hours a day will be spent checking and updating social media including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, while more than a third of Brits sunbathe for three hours on average.
