The new additions were created following research on how modern families travel, to respond to all concerns that can limit the joy of travelling for families - from the moment a family plans and organises its trip until its completion.
Acknowledging the need for comfortable and affordable family trips, the airline provides special fares for children up to 12 years old and an extra hand luggage for infants.
Family travel is further facilitated at the airports. At Athens, Thessaloniki and Larnaca airports, families drop off their luggage at dedicated counters and, for all flights, families are given priority when boarding at all airports.
Finally, children can be entertained creatively during international flights with the new series of Aegean Junior Pilots activities, plus a new children's menu.
The company's updated website aegeanair.com details all services, together with a dedicated section especially designed for families, providing all necessary information and tips to better organise a trip with children and infants.
The airline has also issued a new offer; parents wishing to book a flight up until February 21 can receive a 33% discount (for children aged up to 12), while infants travel free, for travel up to June 15.
