New London to Cape Town route revealed by Norse

Travel between the UK and South Africa capitals has become more accessible with the new route set to operate three times a week from October.

Fares for the London Gatwick to Cape Town route lead in from £499 return for Economy class and £1,199 return in the Norse Premium class. The route will be operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from October 28th, 2024.

Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO and Founder of Norse Atlantic Airways, stated the new service “breaks the duopoly on this route” and it “not only expands travel options for consumers but also drives down costs and put customers back in the pilot’s seat.”

Stephanie Wear, VP Aviation Development at London Gatwick, is “proud” to welcome another Norse route to the London hub as it continues to build on its provision of “excellent connectivity to a number of key markets.”
