For the first time ever MSC Cruises will offer Alaskan itineraries for the summer 2026 season
MSC Poesia will homeport in Seattle for the season and depart weekly on seven-night sailings to Alaska and Canada from May to September, 2026.
During the seven-night sailings, guests can expect to call into Icy Strait Point, Alaska’s first Indigenous-owned cruise destination; the state capital of Juneau; Ketchikan, a key fishing town to the state; and Tracy Arm, a narrow 27-mile-long fjord offering breath-taking views before arriving at the Sawyer Glaciers. Guests will also call to Victoria in British Columbia to complete the voyages.
Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, said, “MSC Cruises offers an unparalleled choice of destinations and embarkation ports in every corner of the world and by introducing sailings to Alaska we’re further extending our global offering and giving our guests the opportunity to experience this must-see region.”
Shore excursions will be available throughout the voyages, including ATV expeditions, the chance to ride the world’s largest zip line, and whale watching.
