The MSC Virtuosa will set sail on the cruise lines first UK sailing of 2021 from Southampton on May 20.
MSC Cruises has begun the month-long countdown to the debut of its new ship, the MSC Virtuosa, and the brand's return to UK shores.

With MSC Virtuosa, our newest ship, and with a whole host of new activities and experiences, we know our guests are going to create life-long memories on board this summer. This landmark moment of restarting cruising from the UK has been long-awaited and we are delighted to be counting down to when we can set sail again, just one month from now.?
The new ship will initially sail on three- and four-night itineraries from Southampton to Portland, Dorset, before seven-night cruises from June 12, 2021 take guests from Southampton to Liverpool and Greenock, calling at Portland and Belfast.
Aboard the ship, guests can indulge in the MSC Yacht Club, the premium private club offering some of the best views on board. Five main dining restaurants and five specialty dining options will offer worldwide cuisine, from steaks to sushi.
In an MSC first, the MSC Starship Club will host Rob, the robotic bartender, who will host and interact with guests and serve them drinks on board - speaking eight language and serving a whole menu of cocktails and beverages whilst doing so.
For guests looking to kick back and relax on board, the ship's spa with a choice of more than 20 massage treatments, a 975-seater theatre offering West-End-style productions and live entertainment, as well as five swimming pools.
