Marella Cruises adds two new ports to winter 2025 roster

Marella Discovery will call at Isla Catalina in the Dominican Republic and Ponce in Puerto Rico (two new-to-brand ports of call) from December 15th, 2025.

On sale today, the itineraries feature 167 hotel options for cruise-stay guests and flights from 14 airports across the UK.

Both new calls are featured on the 'Tropical Isles' itinerary, which sails from La Romana to San Jean, Charlotte Amalie, and Fredriksted before the two new ports of call draw the sailing to a close on return to La Romana.

Marella Discovery 2 will sail an 'Exotic Islands' itinerary, calling in Barbados, St. Lucia, Aruba, Curaçao and Grenada, with overnight onboard stays and cruise-stay options at select calls.

The 'Island Explorer' voyage swaps the Caribbean for the Canaries, with sailings from November 28th, 2025 calling at Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Madeira and La Palma aboard Marella Voyager and Marella Explorer 2.

Chris Hackney, Marella Cruises' managing director, said the new calls "allow our guests to discover more," continuing, "By expanding our overnight onboard stay offering in the Curacao and Canary Islands and cruise and stay options in the Caribbean and Canary Islands, it will give guests a chance to explore the sights, with a chance to stay at our TUI hotels pre or post-cruise."
