MarBella Collection has announced the official opening of its third property, MarBella Elix, on May 20, 2021.
The hotel is a five-star property situated in a previously undiscovered region of mainland Greece and is the brand?s first property outside of the island of Corfu. It is perched above the Karavostasi beach in the Parga region, looking west towards Corfu and Paxos.
The hotel has 146 guest rooms and suites with sea views. In celebration of the opening the lobby will exhibit two Greek kaftans as a nod to the region?s history during the Ottoman occupation.
MarBella Elix is located within an hour?s drive from Preveza Airport (PVK). Guests will get opportunities for enjoying activities such as is hiking in the hills or swimming along the Karavostasi beach. The property is also certified as ?Bike Friendly? and ideal for guests looking to cycle through the countryside surrounding the hotel with a resident nature guide. The Karavostasi sandy beach offers seclusion and privacy with a delegated area beneath the hotel available only for hotel guests.
With four restaurants and three bars, guests at MarBella Elix have choices ranging from modern Mediterranean dining at Saffron Main Restaurant in a sublime sea view setting to healthy, light bites beside the pool at Indigo Restaurant, or the Azure Beach Restaurant and new age Greek cuisine at the Pearl a la carte Restaurant.
This summer, MarBella Elix will be hosting the brand?s inaugural ?Greek Chefs Abroad: A Culinary Series? in conjunction with sister property, MarBella Nido. MarBella Elix will offer an Adventure Club for kids and teens, all centred around the magic of Greek mythology. The hotel also offers sporting facilities such as tennis, volleyball, beach volley and mini basketball. Elixir, the MarBella Elix Wellness Centre, features luxurious treatment rooms offering natural spa therapies and beauty care, as well as a fitness studio.
