Malaysia Airlines has started providing its passengers with complimentary onboard hygiene kits from today.
The introduction of the kit, comprising a face mask and a hand sanitiser, coincides with the launch of the Fly Confidently campaign. The airline launched the campaign with a video titled Fly Confidently, Fly Malaysia. It provides a clear overview of what passengers can expect from a flight with Malaysia?s national carrier, with a detailed step-by-step walk-through of the customer experience, from the online checking-in at home to the enhanced safety measures they can look forward to, onboard.

The procedures highlighted in the video comply with the guidelines set by international and local regulatory bodies, including the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and the Ministry of Health of Malaysia (MOH).
The measures include: educating passengers on the latest requirements, imposing social and physical distancing rules wherever possible, asking passengers to wear face coverings or masks at all times, heightening the routine sanitation of the self-service kiosks, check-in counters, airline and airport facilities and health screening using thermal scanners via contactless thermometers. Passenger can update their information regularly on the COVID-19 monitoring app, MySejahtera using QR codes.

We hope that the Fly Confidently campaign will inform travellers about the extensive health and safety measures that have been put in place, including the provision of complimentary hygiene kits, and how they can follow guidance to guarantee that every flight with Malaysia Airlines is safe and comfortable for all onboard.?
Passengers can also benefit from Malaysia Airlines? new economy flexible fare option, which provides customers with the option to rebook their ticket at no extra cost (other than the difference in fare) and receive a full refund on their ticket, with no cancellation fee.
