London Luton Airport expands Covid-19 testing capacity

The in-terminal facility will give passengers a pre-departure fit to fly certification.

Ahead of the return of international travel, London Luton Airport has opened a new Covid-19 testing facility, partnering with leading testing provider Collinson to expand their current operations, which utilises a drive-through model in the airport's car park. The in-terminal facility will be able to accommodate 144 tests an hour.

Neil Thompson, operations director at London Luton Airport (LLA), said of the expansion: ?Opening this in-terminal testing centre at LLA will offer access to all the necessary travel testing solutions, providing passengers further confidence in their ability to travel safely. This is another vital step in our preparations to kick-start our recovery once restrictions are lifted.?
