p>Ferry operator LD Lines has October half term fares offers available from ?28 return from Dover to Boulogne.The short break fare applies to a car and five passengers on the service, currently operated by the high speed ferry, Norman Arrow, providing four return sailings daily.
With Boulogne being the perfect destination to enjoy a short break or day excursion during the half term, LD Lines also carries foot passengers on selected sailings on the Dover - Boulogne route, from ?18 for a day return.
From early November, the conventional ferry Norman Spirit is being introduced to the Dover - Boulogne service, operating four return sailings daily, with a crossing time of one hour 45 minutes.
With capacity for 1850 passengers, 700 cars and 110 freight vehicles, all tourist traffic will also be carried on Norman Spirit including coaches and foot passengers in addition to cars, cars and caravans, motorhomes and motorcycles.
LD Lines also has short break half-term offers on its Newhaven - Dieppe and Portsmouth - Le Havre routes:
For a car and two passengers, five day returns from ?39 each way and from ?49 each way on the Newhaven - Dieppe and Portsmouth - Le Havre routes respectively.
