Kuoni clues agents up on trendy destinations for 2024

The groups new Travel Forecast report collates findings from the January and February peaks sales period, with bucket list spots and off-the-beaten-track hidden gems climbing the ranks.

Early signs for the top destinations of the year ahead point towards Mauritius, Thailand and Greece, with Kuoni emphasising Thailand especially: its potentially unexpected comeback represents a high-potential opportunity for travel agents in 2024.

Namibia, Sri Lanka, and Portugal also enjoyed strong portions of the year's demand throughout January and February.

In the Caribbean, Grenada has emerged as an unexpected star, climbing the destination charts ahead of this year's Spice Island Resort reopening (following an extensive renovation) and the debut of Six Senses La Lagesse.

Portugal and Greece are welcoming bolstered demand for premium short-haul experiences, with both's unique offerings well-aligned with the experiential travel wave.

Mauritius is running ahead as the Indian Ocean's winner, with its competitive pricing and indulgent experiences providing an ideal blend of what guests are looking for in 2024.
