KLM to fly to Hangzhou and connect to Poznan in October

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has started weekly flights between Amsterdam and Hangzhou, China.

It will also start daily flights between Schiphol Airport and Poznan, in Poland, from October 25. 

Boeing 777-200 will connect to Hangzhou via Seoul Incheon (South Korea) and add a second frequency very soon.

Flight KL 0857 departs from Amsterdam on Thursday at 18.55pm, and reaches Incheon, near Seoul the next day, while KL 0821 departs from Seoul Incheon at 13.50pm and arrives in Hanghzou at 15.00pm. KL 0822 departs from Hangzhou on Friday at 18.50pm and arrives in Seoul Incheon at 21.55pm, and KL 0858 departs from Seoul Incheon on Saturday at 00.25am and arrives in Amsterdam at 04.45am.

An Embraer 175, with 20 seats in business class and 68 in economy class, will fly to the Polish city daily. 

Flight KL1273 will depart from Schiphol at 14.40pm and will land in Poznan at 16.20pm, while KL1274 will depart from Poznan at 16.50pm and land in Schiphol at 18.35pm local time.

Located on the River Warta, Poznan is the fifth largest city in the country. It is the fifth destination for KLM in Poland, after Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk and Wroclaw.

For the Hangzhou route, KLM follows the guidelines set by the Chinese government for resuming international flights. Passengers must complete a health declaration online and undertake temperature checks. There will be limited inflight catering available to minimise contact between the passengers and crew.
