Sri Lanka has been added to the operators’ winter sun programmes, marking the first time either brand has featured a long-haul destination.
Customers can choose between 11-, 12-, 22-, or 29-night options in the beachfront Tangerine Beach Hotel in Kalutara for departures between October 2024 and May 2025.
Staying true to its’ stay longer for less’ message which was introduced to the winter sun programmes last week, a ‘four weeks for the price of three’ offer is available across all Sri Lanka departure dates, meaning customers can experience a 29-night holiday from £2,499 per person in May 2025. The price includes 28 nights of all-inclusive service, return flights, four excursions and transfers. The package also offers a limited number of no single supplement rooms.
For those wanting to explore even further, a five-day ‘Impressions of Sri Lanka’ pre-tour can be added, featuring a visit to Dambulla, a walk through banana plantations, tuk tuk rides through paddy fields, a trip to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kandy, and a visit to a local tea plantation. Prices for the add-on lead in from £749 per person.
Chris Simmonds, CEO of JG Travel Group, hailed the “milestone moment” of adding Sri Lanka to Just Go! and National Holidays’ portfolio, praising the winter sun programmes as they continue to go from “strength to strength.”
The winter sun programmes also feature a new Portugal holiday ranging from 14-, 2-1, or 28-nights in Albufeira in the Algarve. Prices lead in from £999 per person for 14 nights and includes return flights, all-inclusive accommodation at The Auramar Hotel and excursions.
