James Villas builds three-strong trade relations team

Led by Alison Burton, the team will focus on supporting the trade and enhancing agent relations.

With two years in sales and guest operations, Alison will head up the trade relations strategy: face-to-face, virtual and in-branch training along with coffee mornings, educational visits and incentives.

On her new role as trade relations manager, Alison said: "I am really looking forward to working with the travel trade again, and reconnecting with industry colleagues. My team is fantastic and brings experience from throughout the business, to help and support our agent partners.

"I can’t wait to get out and about, meeting up with agents and sharing information about the incredible breadth of product that we have to offer their customers."

Alison will be joined by Aimie Fisher and Lauren White, guest operations specialists – trade relations, with the former a self-employed agent before joining James Villas last year and Lauren a travel & tourism graduate with experience in a family-run ski holiday business.

James Villas' newly-appointed general manager, Dave Woollcott, added: "I am thrilled to see us working more closely with travel agent partners. Alison and the team are hugely passionate about working with the trade and initial feedback from agents has been very positive.

"We have an incredible selection of villas and something for every budget and group size - from sprawling converted farmhouses perfect for extended family trips to cosy boltholes with luxury touches for a couple’s getaway.  Our ABTA membership, low deposits, and excellent customer service both before and during holidays, means we are the natural choice for agents looking for a villa holiday for their customer."
