The operator will offer a vast array of global experiences across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Africa, South and Central America, and a host of other destinations.
Intrepid Travel is doubling down on its efforts to build authentic Indigenous experiences, with over 100 on offer for its 2023 programme.
The company first joined the Reconciliation movement in Australia in 2018, and has set its sights on expanding its Indigenous experiences since 2020.
Highlights include a tour of a native Mayan family's farm on the 'Premium Mexico Yucatan Highlights' itinerary, a Native-guided tour through Utah's national parks on 'Hiking Utah's National Parks', and a visit to the Watarrka National Park Karrke Aboriginal Cultural Experience on the 'Premium Red Centre & Uluru' tour.
Sara King, Intrepid's general manager for Purpose, said: “Indigenous tourism has the power to bring travellers closer to the communities that shaped destinations, honouring their customs and unique history while paving a new path for peace and reconciliation.”
