Inspiretec launches online training academy

The programme is designed to offer agents and operators a new way to train.

Inspiretec has unveiled its new 'Inspiretec Academy', an online training programme offering agents, operators and travel companies a new way to train their employees. Created during the pandemic for a flexible yet interactive way to remote learn, a virtual consultant guides users through the various courses on offer, spotlighting how to use the products and get the best out of them.

A specialist educational company was involved in the creation of the academy, focusing on the best and easiest ways people learn for the courses' structures. The academy is not restricted by location, language or the traditional classroom approach to technology, providing an independent learning environment for users.

Courses for the company's CRM product and Reservations platform have gone live on the programme now. Existing customers and agents and operators currently trialling Inspiretec's CRM product can benefit from access to the academy.

Helen Baldwin, chief people and engagement officer at Inspiretec comments: ?As travel returns it will be vitally important that those employees who are new into the industry and those returning from furlough, are quickly given the skills to work as efficiently as possible. As we emerge from the pandemic, hosting a traditional two-day training programme at a travel company?s HQ is likely to be something of the past. Our new Inspiretec Academy aims to reinvent the learning experience and offer an interactive self-learning tool that will really engage its users at a time and place to suit them.?

Each product is broken down into individual modules across courses and chapters. Users will be guided through topics including setup, how to manage selling, how to manage clients, and monitoring.

Once completed, users receive a 'Super User' certificate, and as they progress, bronze, silver and gold accreditation can be achieved.

Baldwin adds: ?Our new training academy streamlines the learning process and teaches staff through bite-sized engaging modules that are easy to navigate through. We want staff to be recognised for their knowledge whilst ensuring they get the very best out of the technology that is at their fingertips.?
