Iberostar opens new five-star hotel in Tunisia

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts has opened a new property in Tunisia, Iberostar Selection Kuriat Palace, located a few steps away from Skanes beach in Monastir. 

This is the group's sixth hotel in Tunisia and is part of beachfront resort segment. The 382-room five-star Iberostar Selection Kuriat Palace on Skanes beach includes a private area for hotel guests. It has been redesigned in accordance with Mediterranean-style architecture combining indoor and outdoor gardens. It also features an Arabian-style d?cor.    

During the opening event, Pedro Serra, hotel group's regional operations director for Tunisia, Morocco and Greece, said: "Tunisia is a key destination for Iberostar Hotels & Resorts. The chain?s determined commitment to this destination is clearly reflected in the outstanding service and facilities of all six hotels Iberostar operates in the country." 

The hotel has five meeting rooms which are fully equipped to host events. A range of gastronomy options are available in the buffet, which includes a show cooking area and in the ? la carte specialities restaurant. Both the venues bring together the best of the Mediterranean and African culinary traditions. Apart from the classic Tunisian dishes, visitors can also enjoy international favourites. 

The Star Prestige experience includes areas reserved exclusively for adults, such as a sun terrace with Bali beds and VIP service.  

The Iberostar Group through its Wave of Change movement aims to remove single-use plastic from all bedrooms in its hotels during the course of 2019.
