Hyatt Regency Koh Samui has been unveiled

The resort covers eight acres of private coastline on the island of Koh Samui, which is eyeing a re-opening for international tourism in the coming months.

Koh Samui has welcomed a new eight-acre luxury resort along its private coastline. As the island sets its sights on a re-opening for international visitors in the coming months, the opening is expected to set a landmark for the road to recovery.

Marking Hyatt's first property on Koh Samu, the property was the result of a collaboration between the Office of Bangkok Architecture, August Design and PLandscaping, and boasts 140 rooms, including 24 suites and villas.

?The pandemic has been a challenging time for Koh Samui as it has been for the entire tourism industry in Thailand. That?s why we are so delighted to debut with such a special resort,? said Adrian Pulido, general manager.

Less than ten minutes from the island's international airport, in North Chaweng, the property bills itself as a 'vacation gallery' thanks to its selection of visual highlights, including a showpiece lobby, its plush accommodations and largest pool zones on the island.

Guests will have a choice of dining and beverage options at four restaurants and bars, including the all-day Thai and international restaurant Yangna and Sesun Grill & Beach Bar with fresh seafood and Mediterranean sides set to a backdrop of sea views.

Families can enjoy the resort's freeform pools, including lap, plunge, family and kids' pools, which cascade to the beach. Camp Hyatt offers supervised play and activities for younger guests.

Indoor and outdoor venues are available for gatherings, including the elegant Regency Ballroom which accommodates up to 100 guests or 150 for cocktails.
