Hotel The Mitsui Kyoto, a new luxury hotel in the Japanese city of Kyoto, will open on November 3 and is accepting bookings.

The property has 161 guest rooms, which includes 22 suites (two Onsen suites and one presidential suite), where each room is a reimagining of the traditional Japanese tea room, created by using meticulously selected natural materials and time-honoured techniques. Located near the Nij?-jo Castle, the hotel architecture combines cultural artefacts from traditional Japanese culture and heritage of the Mitsui family, blended with modern design. During this time, the prices for a room per night, on a double-sharing basis/for two is ?730, which includes breakfast for two people and a voucher for ?75 which can be used for the restaurants or spa treatments.
