Homes & Villas by Marriott International unveils UK portfolio for staycations

As UK travellers plan staycations and travelling later this year, Homes & Villas by Marriott International is introducing a collection of more than 660 UK homes for holiday planning and inspiration.

Homes & Villas by Marriott International offers travellers a curated collection of private home rentals ranging from luxury beach villas, countryside cabins, grand chateaus and city apartments in major holiday destinations around the world. Across the UK, guests can choose from the coasts of Cornwall and Pembrokeshire, to the remote Scottish Highlands with many other beauty spots, coastal and countryside locations, picturesque villages and city hot spots in between. UK rentals range from cosy manors with three acre gardens in the Cotswolds, spacious homes with magnificent views of the Yorkshire coast, idyllic cottages in the Scottish Highlands, and characterful seaside apartments in Wales.

Looking to Europe for when holidaymakers can travel further afield once again, there are various destinations much loved by UK travellers, including Greece, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Cyprus, and Finland. Homes & Villas by Marriott International also has more than 28,000 private home rentals across 250 destinations in Europe, South Africa, Israel, Canada, the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Chris Stephenson, senior director of Homes & Villas by Marriott International, Europe, Middle East & Africa, commented: “We’re thrilled to be able to introduce the Homes & Villas by Marriott International offering to UK travellers. In response to increased demand, we’re proud to be able to offer guests a wide variety of premium and luxury home rentals across the UK and Europe, allowing them to discover new and exciting destinations. We know that many will be looking to create extra special holiday memories with family and friends this year, and we are confident that our carefully curated collection of homes will provide inspired settings for long overdue reunions and celebrating missed milestone moments. We’ve also recognised that travellers might need to change their plans last minute, so we have a flexible 10-day cancellation policy in place for most homes.”

With remote working continuing this year and an increased demand for work-cations and longer stays, each home in the collection has all essentials needed including Wi-Fi, a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry and premium amenities.

Members of the Marriott Bonvoy travel programme can earn and redeem points on home stays with Homes & Villas by Marriott International. Points earned through stays can also be redeemed across the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio of over 7,600 hotel and resort properties around the world.
