Holiday Extras has launched its new trade-facing website to travel partners, which according to the company will make it even easier and quicker for agents to service their customer and in doing so, increase their earnings.

The website offers agents the ability to pre-book a range of upgrades for their customers, a Google integrated search allowing access to an agent product guide, an improved view/amend/cancel feature and faster loading times.

Howard Dove, sales and operations director at Holiday Extras, said: "The web accounts for 90 per cent of all Holiday Extras business, and travel-partner bookings make up more than 60 per cent of our revenue. Our trade-facing website is fundamental to our success, and the time was right to invest further in this key resource."

Holiday Extras is marking the launch of its new trade website with a weekly competition. By completing the sentence "I like Holiday Extras? new website because...", agents will have the chance to win ?250 each week for a month.

The company says it has already had positive feedback from agents who have tested the new and improved site.

Katie Hamlin, supervisor at Gloucester Travel, said: " I think the new website looks great. It really stands out with the new colours.Viewing and amending bookings has become a lot easier and as the website is set out better it is easier to use. It stands out from other trades as it shows everything you offer on the first page, we don't have to go looking through to the whole website. Overall, I think the new website is great."
