The decision to introduce these staycation packages was influenced by the findings of a recent survey, which found that 67% of staycations were concentrated around coastal destinations, which are deemed more attractive by holidaygoers.
In addition, the findings suggested that 17% respondents chose a city break; while 11% chose countryside locations and at least three out of four people were not inclined to holiday abroad this year.
The Coast & City Twincation at Slieve Donard Resort & Spa and Europa Hotel package offers a four-night staycation with breakfast each morning, with prices starting at ?270 per person. The tour comprises visits to places such as, Glenarm Castle Estate & Tea Rooms, which serves Organic Glenarm smoked Salmon and organic Shorthorn Beef. The self-drive tour has been created to make sure guests get an opportunity to drive through Northern Ireland?s most breathtaking coastal routes.
