The Harlem Globetrotters will be appearing at Butlin?s three seaside resorts on all school summer holiday breaks in 2020.
The basketball stars will appear twice at each resort on each break, starting with a meet and greet in the Skyline Pavilion followed by a show featuring three of the Globetrotters? players that will exhibit the team?s great ball handling, basketball artistry, high-flying dunks and hilarious on-court antics. There will also be a skills clinic where guests will have the chance to learn some of the tricks. The Globetrotters mascot, Globie, will also be there and guests will have the chance to purchase merchandise.
The three Butlin?s resorts ? Bognor Regis in Sussex, Minehead in Somerset and Skegness in Lincolnshire - will be the only resorts featuring this unique experience over the summer of 2020 within the UK holiday industry, and the Globetrotters experience will be included in the price of the break.
Mike Godolphin, head of entertainment at Butlin's, said: ?We are excited to have the Harlem Globetrotters at Butlin?s in 2020. It?s our goal to provide the best entertainment from around the world and we know the Globetrotters will deliver a memorable experience for our guests.?
Families can take a three-night break from ?498 per family and enjoy the new Globetrotters unique show. This price is based on two adults and two children sharing a Silver Room at the Minehead Resort when arriving on July 24, 2020.
