The 7th Greek Sympossio Gourmet Touring has arrived in the UK for the beginning of April introducing Greek Street Food at four events to be held in London, Edinburgh, Nottingham, and Ashford in Kent.
Sympossio has become an annual event, this year sponsored by the Greek National Tourism Organisation and Aegean Airlines, which brings together Greek producers, chefs, hoteliers, airlines, tour operators and travel trade businesses for an evening to experience and discover the treasures of Greek culinary traditions.
The evening involves guests being split into teams and together with a professional chef they are taught how to make a variety of Greek dishes.
This year chefs from Aldemar Resorts will be showcasing the best of Greek Street Food as they bring a taste of Greek gastronomy to the UK and have introduced corners serving Greek street food in all their resorts for 2016 so holidaymakers will also be able to try some of the dishes re-invented by the chefs this year.
